The Compak Bolt 83 espresso grinder features huge 83mm flat burrs made from tough tempered steel (100Cr6) with a lifespan of approximately 11,000lbs. Its 610W motor hums at 1,200 RPM, churning out 7 grams of coffee per second, minimizing grind time for a double shot to less than 3 seconds. The Lock & Load System makes it a breeze to pop open the grinding chamber for a quick clean or burr swap, all while keeping your grind settings locked in.

The Bolt 83 features two modes: Fresh mode lets you dial in 1, 2, or 3 doses on the fly via the 2.8-inch touchscreen, while Predose mode pre-grinds 1 or 2 doses into a dosing chamber, ready to drop via a trap door when the line starts forming. The screen’s got extras like language options, dose tracking, and a heads-up when the burrs need to be replaced. Dual cooling fans keep things cool on the inside, preventing heat spikes and dramatic changes to grind size during times of high volume. Overall, the Bolt 83 is ideal for high volume cafes where efficiency is paramount.
