Redesigned from top to bottom, The Mazzer Super Jolly V Up Electronic espresso grinder modernizes the classic 1971 Super Jolly-E design with convenient new features and hardware that will appeal to both cafe owners and baristas. Improvements include hands-free grinding and a portafilter activated microswitch, the highly effective GFC clump crushing system for fluffy grounds and simple chute cleaning, 2 programmable dose buttons that offer time-based increments of 1/100th sec, a pause function that tracks remaining time left for the dose in case the cycle is interrupted, faster, redesigned burrs, and even a magnetic tag holder to display the current coffee atop the hopper. Compared to its Super Jolly V Pro counterpart, the V Up Electronic includes a touch screen instead of push buttons and excludes ioT connection capability for mobile statistics tracking, the metal on/off switch, dual internal cooling fans and the MTR system with adjustable true zero reference and lifting grind chamber, which allows the Pro model to be reassembled without disrupting the current grind setting or zero point. Overall, the Super Jolly V Up Electronic is a stripped down version of the V Pro offering cost savings to those who don’t desire the extra features.

Re-engineered 64mm Carbon Steel Burrs

The Super Jolly V Pro includes Mazzers new standard 233M 64mm burr set, designed to grind up to 20% faster than the original Super Jolly burrs, or around 3-4 grams per second. 64mm burr platforms are growing in popularity because of their compatibility with a wide variety of aftermarket burrs, like SSP High Uniformity Burrs, thanks in part to the demands of the home grinder market. This adds a measure of versatility not found in many commercial grinders, allowing a broad palate of flavor options simply by replacing the burrs.
