The CTO-Q 15" Quick-Twist filter cartridge reduces sediment (down to 0.5 microns), chlorine, and other contaminants that affect the taste and odor of water. It is used for both pre- and post-filtration, reducing the pressure on the membrane, the semi-permeable barrier that allows only specific solids and other substances to pass through, and catching particles that the membrane might miss. The CTO-Q has a flow rate of 2.25 gpm and a capacity of 22,500 gallons.
