The Cafelat Robot comes standard with hands that look like the head of a wrench. They are precisely machined to hold the tamper, but not necessarily the barista's hand, comfortably in their grasp. Paul Pratt designed these new aluminum Robot Hands, or "mittens" as they are affectionately called, for the home barista who wants a more comfortable espresso experience. They are easily installed by placing the front and back sections over the original Robot hands and turning the screw into place.
